Sizing is the one that determines whether the system actually keeps up in July.
New equipment carries the manufacturer warranty, which for Trane systems typically runs 10 years on parts and 10 to 12 years on the compressor (12 years on Premier-tier variable-speed systems) when registered within 60 days. We handle the registration at install. On top of the equipment warranty, Local Roots backs the workmanship for the life of the system. If something we installed fails because of how we installed it, we come back and make it right.
SRP and APS both run heat-pump rebate programs for qualifying high-efficiency installations. SRP rebates can reach $1,150 on heat pumps; APS runs a parallel program with its own qualification list.
